Rental Policies
WHAT
CONSTITUTES A RENTAL PERIOD?
Half a
Day is classified as 3 hours plus travel time. Due back
same day.
24 hour Day, rates are based upon one shift of
8 hours per day. Due back at the same time the next day.
Week is classified as 7 days or 40 hours
whichever comes first.
Month is classified as 28 days or 160 hours.
If the equipment is rented by the day, rate of
overtime is 1/8 of the daily rate for each hour is
excess of eight. If it is rented by the week, the rate
is 1/40 of the weekly rate for each hour in excess of
40. If it is rented by the month, the overtime rate is
1/160 of the monthly rate for each hour in excess of 160
hours in any one 28 consecutive day period.
The rental period for the equipment starts when
the equipment leaves our yard and stops when the
equipment is returned to us in the same condition as
rented.
SHIFTS
All rates in this catalog are based on the
equipment being used on a standard 8 hour per day shift,
40 hours per week, or 160 hours per 4 week period.
Double or triple shifts will be charged accordingly.
NOTICE
Customer is responsible for all insurance
coverage on all rental equipment.
Proper hitching, loading, operation, and towing
speed of all mobile equipment are the customer's
responsibility.
Repair and maintenance to keep machinery in
good operating condition is the responsibility of the
customer. Customer shall promptly advise us of any
malfunction or failure of the equipment.
On all equipment we expressly disclaim any
warranty, express or implied, statutory, by operation of
law or otherwise, including merchant ability and fitness
for any particular purpose with respect to the
equipment.
Operating instructions and safety
warnings are extremely important and should not be
defaced from the equipment.
FUEL
The Customer is responsible for ALL fuel.
TO AVOID EXTRA CHARGES; RETURN
EQUIPMENT CLEAN, UNDAMAGED AND ON TIME.
Deposit - A
deposit is charged to the customer at the beginning of
the rental contract. All rental equipment and
accessories thereof, must be returned on time and in the
same condition as when rented to have the deposit
refunded.
Maintenance -
The customer is responsible for all basic machine
maintenance I.E.; check engine oil, lubricate, check
radiator, etc. In the event of the equipment becoming
unsafe or in a state of disrepair, the customer will
immediately discontinue use and promptly return it for
repair or replacement.
DELIVERIES -
We will deliver and pick up anywhere
within reason. Delivery Charges are based upon distance
from the store and the size of the equipment rented.
